abstract = "The equatorial ionization anomaly (EIA) is characterized by the
formation of two crests of enhanced electron density, one being
located north and the other one being located south of the
magnetic equator, with distances from the geomagnetic equator
ranging in latitude interval of approximately 05 to 25 degrees at
each hemisphere. This research aims at looking for the day to day
variability of EIA by using ground based GNSS data (TEC)
considering specific longitudinal positions and possible mechanism
leading to changes (i.e., distance and between the crests and
north-south asymmetry of the crest positions) in the low latitudes
over Brazil. Data analysis methodology and main results will be
presented.",
